Centrify is a tool to connect non-Winders systems to Active Directory. Here is a collection of my common tasks.

Refresh your system kerberos ticket when I system hasn’t been active in AD for a while:

adflush

If that isn’t working, force a refresh your system kerberos ticket:

adkeytab -r -u adm-grobinson -V

If you just made a change in AD and need to force out replication to the other domain controllers – run this from the dc where the changes were made:

repadmin /syncall /APeD

George Robinson has been taming technology since 1981. His first bitter taste of UNIX was in 1987 with Xenix 2.1.1. George's youth was spent in building electronics and writing programs to post on the local BBS. In high school, he became involved in student radio and was hired by the top station in the market. George double majored in Psychology and Music Theory earning a B.S. at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. During college, the Internet wave hit Montana and his quirky hobby went pro in 1998. He has succeeded at Systems Administrator and DevOps roles in numerous startups and enterprises like Verizon Wireless, Yahoo, Nestlé & Fico. George currently resides in the pacific north west, in a mysterious, undisclosed location somewhere outside of Tacoma.
